Born into an Army household, Mekhala was fortunate enough to have access to multiple sporting facilities at various cantonments. She was introduced to Squash at a relatively late age of 15. Fell in love with the Sport instantly, and it is a love affair which continues till date! Over the years, she has been able to pick up various accolades as a player:
Rahul Kumar was introduced to squash at an age of 23. He started playing squash for recreation in his college and took up the sport professionally in 2016 after moving to Bangalore. He played his first national tournament in 2016 and since then he has been a part of most of the national competitions all over the country and will continue to do so. Rahul has succeeded in playing squash professionally as his biggest achievement is being ranked No. 24 in SRFI Men’s Ranking. He started coaching in the year 2017 with just 3 students and grew to coach 50 students in the next two years. Rahul believes he can represent the country and is currently training with Rithwik Bhattacharya to pursue his dream of playing in the PSA circuit.
Ravinder Malik is an outstanding Squash player who has brought glory to the nation in the field of Sports. He was based in London for over two years for squash. Ravinder Malik is the former National squash coach of India and Joint Secretary of the Squash Rackets Federations of India (SRFI) and is currently actively involved in coaching and promoting the sport in India. Pradeep Thakur and Squash were like love at first sight! At the age of 12 Pradeep saw a squash court at his birth place in Dhampur. He started learning & playing squash at the age of 12 and was playing squash at a professional level for 10 years. He has actively participated in all the major tournaments and competitions all over India. Pradeep now wants to give back to the game what he has experienced and learnt and thus he took up coaching as his career. He is a WSF Level 1 accredited coach having more than 5 years of experience. He has trained over a 100 students across cities like Jaipur, Chennai & Bangalore and many of them rank in the Top 20 nationally. He looks forward to creating more champions in squash from all over the country.
